Two stone churches - the Pyatnitskaya Church and the Church of the Presentation in the Temple - were constructed to the south from the Monastery at the bottom of the hill on the "Podol". Though the Churches were constructed at the same time, they are quite different.

The Church of the Presentation in the Temple was constructed with the money of Boyar Ivan Khabarov. It reminds of the Church of the Holy Ghost. it is a elegant uprising structure on a high socle.

The Pyatnitskaya Church has a refectory and a bell tower. Such type of church became widespread in Russia.
